O Rock in Rio come\u00e7a hoje e termina dia 27 de setembro. \u00c9 um festival de m\u00fasica idealizado pelo empres\u00e1rio Roberto Medina pela primeira vez em 1985, sendo, desde sua cria\u00e7\u00e3o, reconhecidamente, o maior festival musical do mundo latino e um dos maiores do planeta, perdendo apenas para o Tomorrowland. Foi originalmente organizado no Rio de Janeiro e tornou-se um evento de repercuss\u00e3o mundial e, em 2004, teve a sua primeira edi\u00e7\u00e3o fora do pa\u00eds em Lisboa, Portugal. O Rock in Rio soma 16 edi\u00e7\u00f5es, seis no Brasil, seis em Portugal, tr\u00eas na Espanha e uma nos Estados Unidos. O hino do festival \u00e9 de autoria do compositor Nelson Wellington e do maestro Eduardo Souto Neto e foi gravado originalmente pelo grupo Roupa Nova. Entre as principais atra\u00e7\u00f5es est\u00e3o Rihanna, Katy, Queen com Adam Lambert, System of a Down, Slipknot, Metallica, Rod Stewart, Faith no More, John Legend, Korn, Deftones, Steve Vai, Seal, Elton John, M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce, Royal Blood e Queens of the Stone Age.<\/p>\n
