A pe\u00e7a, dirigida pelo professor de teatro Armando S\u00e9rgio da Silva, foi assistida e aplaudida de p\u00e9 por plateias lotadas que contaram inclusive com a presen\u00e7a do ent\u00e3o governador Laudo Natel, dos diretores Gianfrancesco Guarnieri e Augusto Boal, em sess\u00f5es em teatros da capital.
